Let the bells ring! The Detroit Handbell Ensemble had the privilege of being a part of the Eaton Rapids Handbell Festival on October 29. It was a wonderful feeling to be surrounded by handbell choirs from across southern Michigan for a day of learning and ringing.

Detroit Handbell Ensemble is proud to present our Spring concert “The Road Less Traveled,” a musical celebration of the many and varied journeys we’ve been on, as individuals and as an ensemble, over the past two years.

DHE just finished a musical and enjoyable holiday concert season and we’re looking ahead to 2022. We’re hosting auditions for the Spring season on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Do you love making music? Are you obsessed with handbells? We invite motivated musicians interested in growing their skills and becoming part of a professional performing ensemble. DHE rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7-9:30 PM (September through May or early June) at Celebration Lutheran Church in Westland.

We are back in full swing! DHE members are enjoying ringing and working together to prepare for December concerts and the Eaton Rapids (ER) Handbell Festival, rescheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2022.
