Detroit Handbell Ensemble congratulates Artistic Director Brenda Austin on her appointment as the next Handbell Editor for Hope Publishing Company.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Brenda Austin as the next Handbell Editor for Hope Publishing Company. Brenda will be working closely with David Weck over the next several months and take over full responsibility of the Agape / Hope catalog beginning January 1, 2019. We are excited about this next chapter and look forward to tapping Brenda’s passion and enthusiasm for handbell music. In her words:

“I am overjoyed by this new opportunity to serve and represent the amazing team at Hope Publishing. I look forward to building on the work of my friend and colleague, David Weck, who created and built the Agape catalogue, which is so prominent and respected in the handbell community today.
