We are back in full swing! DHE members are enjoying ringing and working together to prepare for December concerts and the Eaton Rapids (ER) Handbell Festival, rescheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Interim Artistic Director Kyle Webber says, "We are so excited to be kicking off our 2021-2022 season making music in person once again! We've missed it!! This season we are welcoming back many returning members of the Detroit Handbell Ensemble family as well as welcoming a few new members. It is so great to have new faces join our team! We hope you will plan to attend one of our performances and experience the wonderment, love and peace that the season and our instrument can bring."

Our holiday concerts will feature original handbell compositions, arrangements of hymn tunes, and, of course, Christmas favorites -- all reflective of the wonder, love, and peace of the season. Click here for details.

And, everyone thinks of bells at Christmastime, but what about making it a goal to attend the ER Festival in the spring? It’s a great day of making music under the direction of Brenda Austin and Kyle Webber, along with a chance to attend classes taught by members of DHE. Choirs at all skill levels are welcome!
